Bid Day is a BIG DAY! And we love to celebrate newfound sisterhood!
Each year we have customized gifts and goodies for Bid Day. This FAQ list is designed to help you get a great gift for your sorority gal! Browse available sorority products online here.
Important things to note:
- We DO allow customers to shop in store, online, or over the phone to build their own custom Bid Day basket or gift!
- We do NOT carry fraternity items.
- We only deliver during recruitment week and Bid Day, not year round.
- We can NOT monogram greek letters on items.
- Please give us a call if you’re looking for a certain sorority and don’t see it on the website or if you have additional questions about what we can and can’t do regarding customization and sorority licensing: 512-454-7534
When is Bid Day?
This year, Bid Day is on Saturday, August 22nd!

Come shop with us in store to help build a gift that is personal to your girl! You know her best and want you to give a gift you’re proud to give!

How do I get my order started before Bid Day?
If you know your gal will be going through rush, it’s never too early to start planning for her gift. We take pre-order information from you as soon as you contact us so once Bid Day rolls around, your gift will be ready to go. We’ll ask you for your name, phone number, credit card information (we won’t charge it until you call us to confirm the sorority), which items you’re interested in getting, your daughter’s name, her dorm/ dorm room #, and what you’d like for us to write on the enclosure card.
Once Bid Day arrives, you will call or text us with your name and which sorority your daughter has received a bid from. Then, we’ll locate your order form and go from there to get her gift ready and delivered.
PLEASE KNOW: Our sorority items are limited and packaged on a first-call first-serve basis on bid day. If any of the items on your list are out of stock once you call to confirm sorority bids, we will suggest other items to replace any out-of-stock items that were on your list.
NOTE: We’re taking orders now! Give us a call (512-454-7534) if you’d like to get your form started! You’re welcome to visit us in-store as well.
Can I order over the phone or does it have to be in person at the store?
Yes, you can order over the phone! We’re ready on Bid Day (as well as before or after!) to take orders over the phone. You can call the store directly (512-454-7534). We will need your daughter’s dorm room # and credit card information so it’s best to have those specific items ready when placing your order. Check out the Sorority section of our website to see what all we have. Note, we do have additional items in store but they’re not all available for every sorority.
Can I order online?
While we do offer online orders most of the year, we turn off online orders for sorority items from July 1 through the week after UT Rush. This is to ensure inventory stays accurate. During this window, please look at items online to get an idea and either shop with us in store or call/ email us to place your order (shop@pyaustin.com or 512-454-7534).
What should I do once I find out which sorority my Potential New Member (PNM) is in?
If you’ve already put a pre-order in, just call us and let us know. If we do not answer, please leave a message - we will be checking our messages regularly. We’ll pull your file, get the gift together and send it out for delivery! You may also come on in and shop or give us a call (512-454-7534) to have us start putting a gift together together!
Do you deliver?
We sure do! We offer complementary delivery to Hardin House, SRD, and Callaway House. However, we do NOT deliver to homes, sorority houses, or apartments.
Do you have flower arrangements?
Yes! We work with an amazing local florist to put together floral arrangements that can go into one of our many containers (such as ceramic sorority pencil, Mint Julep cups, stadium cups, etc.). Call us on or around Bid Day to find out what types and colors of flowers we have available.
What if she don’t get a bid?
No problem! We have great gifts that we can wrap and deliver to your gal, especially Texas and UT-themed items, floral arrangements in a container such as a cute water bottle, and other gifts that do not feature a sorority to help cheer her up. We’re happy to chat over the phone (or in-person) about what else we have in store that could make the perfect gift for your girl.
Can I buy Bid Day gifts for someone who is NOT at UT? And can you ship it for me?
Yes! We sell sorority items all year and are happy to provide shipping at an additional cost. After August 24, you can shop online or call us with what you’re looking for.
What is your return policy on Bid Day/ sorority items?
All Bid Day/ sorority items are final sale. No returns or exchanges on sale items and all sale purchases are final. No returns on special orders (such as custom monogramming, decaling, engraving, or hot stamping).
